Yet if you look closely, people on this event website state that this will change the world of music forever. The appreciation this album had at first was little to zero.
Yet who knew that it would inspire a whole new generation of artists from all genres? This album itself brought about many flourishing aspects within the colorful world of music. Auto-tune was a distaste to many, individuals critiqued the album and called it one of Kanye’s worst. My favorite songs Say You Will, Welcome To Heartbreak, Heartless, Amazing, RoboCop, Street Lights, Bad News, Coldest Winter and Pinocchio Story. The album is truly heartbreaking but also hauntingly beautiful. The only song I dislike from this album is Paranoid, which is funny because it seems to be everyone's favourite song off the album. There's something about songs like Street Lights and Coldest Winter which makes me feel like everything that's going downhill in Ye's life is going wrong in my life as well. This is one of the few albums I haven't been able to pull myself from crying. This is Kanye's most emotional and honest album, and describes his position at the lowest point of his career personally.
